I rarely read the news about any of the various wars that happen involving the US. Its a pretty dark situation in general, and I don’t agree with violence, let alone war to begin with, so I try to not get too technical with “why” I dislike the conflict. I think its fair enough to say that I don’t agree and leave it at that. This article though wasn’t a surprise in the least, but it made me remember just how evil war is.
The thing that American still hasn’t grasped, is that we create the monsters we so publicly denounce, whether they be foreign or even native to our soil. When your lifeblood runs on ammunition and oil, you’re going to have some interesting creations. The worst part is, I doubt anyone in involved in the article above even truly understands what they are doing. When they get home, I doubt they will be reveling in the kill any longer.
